What marketplace health means

Marketplace health is the operating condition of the account—not a single platform score. It combines policy signals, customer experience, fulfillment, catalog quality, cases, eligibility, and the team’s ability to act before small issues compound.

Start with a weekly view of the signals the platform controls and the actions your team controls. Assign one owner, record the source and timestamp, and separate confirmed facts from assumptions.

The weekly review

Review account-health notices, violations, unresolved cases, suppressed or inactive listings, fulfillment exceptions, cancellations, returns, customer complaints, promotional eligibility, and material changes in traffic or conversion.

For every issue, record business impact, evidence available, owner, next action, follow-up date, and whether written merchant authorization is required for platform representation.

Decision rule

Protect first, then operate, grow, and scale. Do not expand catalog, promotions, creators, or channels while unresolved health, inventory, fulfillment, or customer-service failures can multiply the risk.

Use this free resource on your own, or bring it to a free 15-minute fit call. A separate paid 60-minute assessment ($350–$750) produces a one-page scorecard, prioritized risks, a 30-day action plan, scope and quote.
