Follow Discover → Diagnose → Execute → Optimize. Use this guide to prepare decisions, not as a substitute for platform policy, legal advice, or a client-specific operating review.
Define what the CRM must support
Start with the decisions the CRM must make possible: who owns the relationship, where the buyer is in the lifecycle, what happens next, and which numbers leadership can trust.
Do not begin with a mass deletion or a new automation. Preserve history and classify uncertainty for human review.
Audit the operating foundation
Review duplicate rules, contact-company associations, lifecycle definitions, pipeline stages, required fields, lead sources, owners, permissions, close reasons, service levels, task queues, dashboards, and inactive properties.
For each issue, record the business impact, the proposed rule, the accountable owner, and the validation method.
Prepare for automation
Automate only after the inputs and ownership rules are reliable. Begin with high-confidence confirmation, assignment, reminder, task, and reporting workflows. Add monitoring, failure alerts, and a manual fallback.
